Stewart
Susan Stewart was named chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) at the organization’s recent Annual Convention & Expo, joining Regina Lowrie and Debra Still as the organization’s third female chair. She has worked in mortgage banking since she was 24 and currently serves as CEO of SWBC Mortgage, headquartered in San Antonio. She is a member of the MBA’s board of directors and is past vice chair of the MBA’s Residential Board of Governors.
MacManus
Tom MacManus has been named president of Money360. MacManus will be responsible for leading the company’s sales team, driving strategic growth and broadening its origination network. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking and lending, with prior roles as president and COO at ARA Finance; chairman and CEO at Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman; and president of GMAC Commercial Mortgage and CEO of North American operations.
White
Brian “Woody” White has been named chief diversity and inclusion officer at Homebridge Financial Services. Working in the mortgage industry since 1986, he will lead the company’s new Office of Diversity and Inclusion, ensuring Homebridge’s corporate values and best practices concerning diversity and inclusion are implemented across all aspects of the business processes, recruiting, and business relationships. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park.
Vega
LRES has promoted Cassie Vega to senior director of client experience. She will be responsible for building and maintaining successful client relationships from inception through ongoing account servicing, as well as ensuring that each client’s interaction with LRES meets their expectations. She has worked in the valuations industry for more than 12 years and has managed teams focused on all aspects of commercial and residential operations, including quality assurance, assignment and client services.
Walser
Incenter Appraisal Management, part of the Incenter family of companies, has announced that Mark Walser has joined the firm as executive vice president. Walser will be responsible for strategy, business development, marketing, operations, partnerships, and maintaining and growing its national network of appraisers. He brings over 12 years of senior-level experience in sales, technology and operations for appraisal management companies (AMCs) to the position. Prior to joining Incenter, he held leadership roles at several AMCs, real estate companies, and mortgage technology industries, including Triserv Appraisal Management.
Rhode
Equity Prime Mortgage has announced Julie Rhode as its new retail underwriting manager. She will be responsible for working with her team and industry partners to assist in the growth for the retail division, and the company as a whole, as well as general management responsibilities. She has 22 years of experience, joining EPM almost two years ago as designated underwriter. Prior to joining EPM, she held a managerial position at Caliber Home Loans.
Banerji
Notarize has welcomed Sanjeev Banerji as its new vice president of engineering. He brings more than 20 years of startup experience to the company, previously holding leadership roles at Endeca, Delphix, Bitsight and Ellevation Education.
